Bradley Band

Mr. Kristan E. Ware serves as the director of bands at Bradley Central High School. Mr. Ware is originally from Toms River, NJ. After living there for 18 years and the completion of high school, Mr. Ware moved to Cleveland Tennessee to attend Lee University. In 2003 he received a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis on Trumpet. After graduating from Lee, he taught general music at Ocoee Middle School, as well as band and general music at North Whitfield Middle School, before deciding to go back to his alma mater and work toward a Master’s degree. Mr. Ware graduated with a Master in Music Performance with an emphasis on Trumpet Performance from Lee University in the spring of 2007. He has maintained a private studio with as many as 20 students at a time, in addition to performing with such renowned artists as Phil Driscoll, Roy Roman, Edwin Santiago from the group Salvador, Larnelle Harris, Michael English, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Group The Impressions, and The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps as a featured soloist. While at Lee, Mr. Ware was a member of the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Lee Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band, Chapel Praise Team, Second Edition, Brass Quintet, and performed in the Honors Recital in 2006. Mr. Ware is a member of the International Trumpet Guild and has served as President of the Pi Xi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the national men’s music fraternity.

Ms. Angela DeLozier serves as the assistant director of bands at Bradley Central High School. Originally from Richmond, VA, Ms. DeLozier moved to Cleveland, TN 8 years ago to attend Lee University as an undergraduate student in music education. She began her college career as a piano major and later switched to clarinet. Ms. DeLozier graduated in December of 2006 from Lee, and immediately began working on her Master’s in Music Education, and graduated in December of 2009. Ms. DeLozier actively participated in Wind Ensemble, Opera (both on stage and in the pit), Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and formed a Woodwind Quintet. Ms. DeLozier was a charter member of the women’s music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota (Lambda Eta Chapter). While working on her Master’s, Ms. DeLozier taught band part-time at a private Christian school in Knoxville for the 2007-2008 school year. The following year she was hired as the assistant band director at McMinn County High School. This past year, she was the director of bands at Whitwell High School in Marion Co. TN, where she also taught General Music and Theatre Arts.

Mr. Kevin W. White serves as the percussion caption head at Bradley Central High School.  Mr. White is originally from Mississippi.  Mr. White was raised in Cleveland, Tennessee and attended Cleveland High School.  Mr. White was a part of the award winning Cleveland High School Drumline for 5 years with one of those years being as an 8th grade student at Cleveland Junior High School.  During his time in the Cleveland High School Drumline he was in the front ensemble his 8th grade year and marched snare for the remaining four years of high school.  He also served as Snare Section Leader for two years and Drum Captain for one year.  Mr. White was also a contestant in the Church of God Teen Talent Competition where he won 1st place in the State of Tennessee and 3rd place overall at the national level.  After graduating from Cleveland High School Mr. White joined the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office where he is currently employed full time as a Detective.  Mr. White has been serving as the drummer for the Mount Olive Ministries Music Department since the age of 15.  Mr. White has played drums on numerous studio recordings as well as live recordings with Mount Olive Music Ministries, Mount Olive Youth Ministries, Wendy Bennett, Curtis Bridgeman and a variety of other artists.  Mr. White has played with such renowned artists as Phil Driscoll, Roy Roman, Judy Jacobs, the Crabb Family, and Phil Stacey.  He also serves on the Senior Pastor’s Council at Mount Olive Church of God.  Mr. White is currently finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Liberty University.
